As you stand on the defining line beween good and evil you must delve into the depths of your soul and face your innermost desires to determine which path you will eventually take.
To your left you feel the distant hell fire sparks brushing against your cheek in immesurable rage. If taken for your own you could have kings trembling in fear at your feet and priests chanting your name. However if you find that you are lacking in resolve and waver from your path the very powers you're attempting to harness may turn around and destroy you in unimaginable aganous heat.
At the same time to your right you feel the gently breeze catch your hair in soothing euphoria. If you journey into the light you could have mighty rulers seeking your council and cardinals uttering your name in sacred reverance. However despite the light's radiating beauty it can easily become blinding and in your full submission you may become lost in your journey and wallow in a shallow euphoria.
As you stand on the line between these two realities you prepare to take up the charge of one and journey into its depths where you will be pressed to your personal limits and if you refuse to bend and continue with total resolve you will find yourself not only in the presence of greatness, but the master of it.
And so you begin. Be ever vigilant as danger lurkes on every step of your journey, but fear not, for we shall be here for every moment. For we are the Masters of the Shadows Equinox! |
